BCScanner is straightforward about data. Here is exactly what is collected, why, and what is never done with it.
BCScanner does not sell your data. BCScanner does not share your data with third parties for marketing. The only personal information collected is an optional email address used solely for account password recovery. Watching and browsing is always free and does not require an account.
Email address (optional). If you create an account on the BCScanner platform (vod.bc-scanner.com), you may optionally provide an email address. This email is used solely for account password recovery. It is not used for marketing, newsletters, or any other purpose. It is never shared with third parties.
Username and password. Account credentials are stored securely. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Usage data. Like most websites, BCScanner's servers automatically log standard access information including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring and understanding aggregate site traffic. It is not linked to individual identities and is not shared or sold.
No account required to watch. Browsing bc-scanner.com, watching live streams, and viewing archived videos does not require an account and does not result in any personal information being collected beyond standard server logs.
Information collected by BCScanner is used only for the following purposes:
— To provide account functionality, including password recovery
— To maintain site security and prevent abuse
— To understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the site
BCScanner does not use collected information for advertising targeting, user profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the site.
BCScanner uses the following third-party services which may have their own data practices:
Cloudflare. The bc-scanner.com landing page is served through Cloudflare, which processes traffic for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Embedded stream platforms. When watching BCScanner live on Twitch, Kick, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok, those platforms' own privacy policies apply.
Google Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log font requests. See Google's privacy policy.
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email contact@bc-scanner.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Requests are processed within 30 days.
BCScanner is intended for users 18 years of age and older. Account registration requires confirmation that the user is at least 18. BCScanner does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If this privacy policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Continued use of BCScanner after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
