The goal is simple: get there, document it, and make sure the public sees it. No editors. No advertisers. No algorithm deciding what's worth covering. Just a scanner, a camera, and a commitment to showing up.

BCScanner operates under the First Amendment rights of every journalist and citizen in the United States. The right to observe, document, and publish matters of public interest — especially the conduct of law enforcement and public officials — is foundational to this operation.
BCScanner has been detained five times. Zero convictions. Zero charges that stuck. The infrastructure is deliberately hardened: footage reaches the cloud before a device can be seized. Multi-platform simultaneous broadcast means the record can't be silenced by unplugging one cable.
